Microsoft Ends ALL XP Support in April 2014 and ALL Windows Server 2003 support on July 2015!
Are you using XP or Windows Server 2003? A lot of people still are and Microsoft will be pulling the plug on their support. XP support will end in April 2014 and come July 2015 they will no longer support Windows Server 2003. Of course you can opt to continue using these systems but you would be putting your company at unnecessary risk. XP is known to be more prone to infection than Microsoft’s newer operating systems and switching from Windows Server 2003 to their new server that features Windows Server 2012 R2 will definitely be a proactive move. No support means you will no longer have access to any updates which could keep your information safe.
The safest bet is to take action before the set dates for Microsoft to stop providing support for XP (July 8th, 2014) and Windows Server 2003 (July 14, 2015). There are newer options that are not only safer but have features that may benefit your company. Now is the time to consider upgrading. It may not have been a necessity in the past but with these recent developments, it seems to be the responsible thing for business owners to do. The worst thing that could happen is that you do nothing and run into a problem where you lose all of your data and/or it ends up in the wrong hands. As you IT Company, we can work with you to help you decide what system will work best for you. We can give you a run-down of the pros and cons and what will maximize productivity.
